How to Join

Participants must be full-time tertiary students (including undergraduate, postgraduate, and college students) in Hong Kong and form a team of 2 to 4 members. Choose a track, create a proposal, and submit it by January 11, 2026.

Proposals must be in English and include:

  1. Summary Document: A concise overview of no more than 500 words
  2. Presentation Deck: A maximum of 15 slides
  3. Pitch Video: A video presentation lasting no longer than 5 minutes

Additionally, teams have the option to develop and present a prototype as part of their proposal if it aligns with their plan.

Nine teams will be shortlisted for the final round, scheduled for late-March 2026.

Judging Criteria
What Makes a Winning Proposal?
Your submissions will be evaluated based on:

BUSINESS VIABILITY AND IMPACT (20%)
Evaluates the potential for market success and the overall impact of the solution, examining the business model, target audience, and sustainability.

PROBLEM STATEMENT AND RELEVANCE (20%)
Evaluates the clarity and significance of the problem addressed, assessing its relevance to current challenges in Web3, particularly in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.

INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY (25%)
Measures the originality and inventiveness of the solution, focusing on how well it pushes the boundaries of existing technologies and offers unique approahces within the Web3 ecosystem.

TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY (20%)
Assesses the practicality of implementing the solution, including the use of appropriate technologies, development processes, and scalability.

PRESENTATION AND COMMUNICATION (15%)
Measures the clarity and professionalism of the presentation, focusing on how effectively the proposal is communicated and the ability to engage the audience.
